I don't know how it is

But why is it that I get stuck in one direction, and I can only get out by pushing lots of buttons randomly? I don't think it's your fault, but it's rather annoying.

Pretty much improves on the first one. Graphics look great, movement is great, the area is bigger. Nothing wrong with if, don't fix it if it ain't broken.

I've played many games over my life that gave me a shock or two like Cave Story, Braid, Silent Hill 2, or Crackdown; but I have never felt so degraded and troubled by a game before. But as you said before; it's all about perspective, and not everything is what it seems.

Not really into the story, but that's not really your fault since it's been overdone. But everything feels weighted down, the controls don't break, and it feels viseral. Well done.
